Aligning your inner and outer world.
I am helping you to live in alignment with your values, tailored to your specific circumstances, and calibrated for the reality we are all sharing.
Successfully navigate the complexities of impact in a private wealth context.
Phase 1.
Exploration.
Six months.
Our starting point. You arrive with whatever moves you right now: clarity, confusion, ambition, fear, or anything in between or beyond. You leave with a clear sense of your ‘enough’, grounded in a precise understanding of all your assets and monetary needs, and a deeply rooted sense of what wealth is to you and what it isn’t.
At the end of the Exploration phase, you will have:
A full overview over all your assets and how they are structured.
A defined ‘enough’ number with documented assumptions.
Increased clarity on your relationship with money and how it affects family ties and friendships.
A vision for which purposes your wealth could pursue beyond preservation and growth.
A strong foundation for your high impact strategy that integrates philanthropy and investments.
Supervision as a standard element of Exploration and Impact Strategy.
We tend to dive deep during Exploration and Impact Strategy. To hold that container well, each engagement includes monthly sessions with an independent supervisor. They are someone you can speak to about our sessions, separately from me, under strict confidentiality.
Phase 2.
Impact Strategy.
Six months.
Once the foundation is in place, we translate it into a portfolio. First, we define or review which cause areas to focus on. This is likely the most consequential impact decision you will take. Working with leading experts across the cause areas you have chosen, we build an integrated impact strategy spanning philanthropy, investment, and other forms of capital. The portfolio is grounded in your intrinsic values, calibrated to what the world actually needs, and constrained by your ‘enough’ number.
At the end of the Impact Strategy phase, you will have:
A defined impact portfolio with a clear impact logic integrating philanthropy, investments, and other types of capital.
A fully formed Theory of Change.
An understanding of the impact pathways your strategy leverages, informed by world-class experts.
A specific list of organisations and funds to work with.
Detailed resource allocation plans, timelines, and milestones.
Phase 3.
Impact Creation.
Ongoing.
The most sophisticated strategy is worth little without rigorous execution. The Impact Creation phase supports the actual deployment: due diligence on partner organisations, definition of meaningful success metrics, light evaluation that does not burden partners with unnecessary reporting, and continuous refinement of the strategy as it meets reality.
Throughout and at the end of the Impact Creation phase, you will have:
A due diligence process for all organisations and funds you are working with.
A set of success metrics, objectives, and key results for each partnership and your overall portfolio that clearly tracks progress.
Bi-annual impact and progress reports.
Final evaluations and documentation of completed donation and fund cycles.
Clearly documented learnings and lessons learned after each donation and fund cycle informing future adjustments to your strategy and execution.
Integrating additional participants.
If you share ownership or decision making with parents, siblings, a significant other, children, or anyone else, the engagement can extend to include them. Some sessions are joint, some run in parallel as solo work, and additional group sessions will address the unique relationship configurations. The integration is designed with care: certain material is only honest in solo space, and the design honours that.
